Hotel Transit Loft - Berlin

100% recommend for a fleeting stay

Comfortable room, friendly area, with good public transport options nearby. The daily cleaning service ensured we returned to a fresh space, and the breakfast served from 7 AM until noon gave us plenty of time to enjoy a meal after our adventures.

Everything was ideal.

The rooms are light and airy, the breakfast and check-out times are suitable for humans, there's a safe in your room and the hotel is in a great part of Berlin. The reception is staffed round the clock and the nice man at the desk gave me a euro to use in the left luggage safe on my last day.

I'm vegan, so more fruit, some nuts or even just some juice at breakfast would be good. Soya milk would help. The stairwells and hallways are very echoey, as is the breakfast area, so when people are a bit thoughtless with the volume of their voices this can be very annoying, especially if you're trying to sleep.

Central heating, a private safe, and a writing desk in the room and the comfy bed. Large private bathroom. Magnificent and fantastic location, in the city center of Berlin. Based short walk to 3 stops from AlexanderPlatz.

Loved the breakfast spread, heaps of good choices. Just wish the wifi worked better, made things a bit tricky.

Room size and cleanliness

All the rest! No minimal comfort in the room. No hair fan, no tv set, telephone minibar and the rest of common thinks you expect to find in hotel. Stuff is very polite but absolutely useless. In my case they couldn’t order a taxi to airport!!! I had to walk about 1.5 km until train and change 2 trains my way to airport. This is not hotel but hostel for young people without any problems except hormones :)

The building is very nice in addition to big rooms newly furnisched.

The Transit Loft, with its 24-hour reception. The breakfast spread was excellent with vegan choices, perfect for a hearty start!

-Rooms are quite big.Not far from Alexander platz(20 min walking).Price/quality is very good.Breakfast between 7 - 12h.

-Breakfast is poor,They could offer at least Juice.However we had milk and coffee and we could eat cereals/sandwich so its not that bad.

Variety of savoury food for meals.

the spacious room was clean and warm, perfect for resting after a day of exploring. poor sound insulation meant we could hear everything from the hallway.

The hotel is located in a beutiful neiborhood which is 10 minutes ride to any atraction. The breakfast is great and the room was big and confortable.

great hotel with excellent staff and a 24-hr bar. booked a room for three but when only two of us turned up, they reduced the bill. result! yep, this is a good place for a trip to berlin. more like an upmarket hostel than a typical business hotel. liked it a lot. recommended. its a converted factory and its ace.

The free Wi-Fi here is impressively fast. I had no trouble streaming videos or browsing the web. The breakfast hours are generous, running from 7 AM to 12 noon, great if you're not an early riser.

Old as the galaxy itself and lacks security-just anyone can saunter in and take a ride. There's no sound insulation. My room felt a bit grimy. There were hairs in the bathroom from previous occupants. The mattress was less than ideal, providing an odd bouncing experience, and trust me, the towels could use a refresh-they feel rough and well used. Be warned about the parking situation, it's costly on the street, with a garage quite a trek away.

Fantastic large room, plenty of space and very clean with modern a bathroom suite. Staff were very friendly and always helpful, the breakfast buffet is available til 12 which is always good for late risers or those who have been to sample the Berlin nightlife! Location is excellent, round the corner from a tram stop and 10 minutes to the city centre, plenty of good bars and restaurants to choose from around the hotel area too.

Fast Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception were great. Pillows were quite strange.
